Individual Therapy
I love working individually with teens and adult men and women. The first step is to create a safe and trusting relationship within which we can work together to solve problems and locate areas of the heart that need healing. We will set up a regular time that belongs just to you and collaborate to bring up and heal the areas of your life that feel hurt or stuck. I have seen amazing results from clients who commit to this process of self-discovery.
Couple/Marital Therapy
If you are considering couples therapy, I urge you to give it a try before giving up on a relationship. It is within our love relationships that we have the most potential to grow. Using principles from Ellyn Bader and Peter Pearson of The Couples Institute along with family systems and psychodynamic theories, I tailor the therapy to fit each couple's unique needs.
Family Therapy
Family therapy has the potential to enrich the lives of all family members and to break faulty patterns that have been passed down through generations. Each member of the family affects every other member of the family in ways that may be hard to see at first. If one member of the family is suffering, all may be suffering, each in his or her own way. I honor the family that is willing to bring all of this into the room for greater understanding and healing.
